RE: Would you buy a diesel again (second time) I hope the Class C last me as long as I ever need a Motor Home. It a Class C on a one ton Dodge chassie and a Cummins 12 valve diesel. We like it very much and the Cummins is hard to beat.I have two diesel and plan on keeping them for the next 20 years or so.I keep them in the garage all clean up and ready to go. With the high prices won't be traveling as much as we use to.So far we have not had the Motor Home out this year so far.That a bummer. Just don't feel like going so far this summer. RE: Where is everyone off to this Memorial Day Weekend? The older I get the slower I get. We are staying home I guess.We got lots of work around here to keep us busy.I haven't even clean the outside and waxed it yet for the summer.Maybe this week end I can work on cleaning it up. It stays in the garage out ogf the weather and that a big help for a motor home.Wife got the dogs bath this week and they are ready to go anywhere.Would like to do a little fishing but forget where the fishing gear is.dynamite works better anyway. that way it don't take all day.Hope all you have a great time camping this weekend. Have you plan not to travel as much this year? I usually take 3 camping trips a summer but now this year I have only one for sure.The way gas prices and diesel fuel is going and the fucture of food and other things we must have like heating and ect.This is going to hurt the nation as a whole I think.What do you think about this problem. It was in the 70's. Scotty's Castle was nice to see. Would like to go back but getting to old my wife says plus we now have 4 dogs that we did not plan to have. They are rescue dogs. RE: Getting a new generator,Generac no good I called the factory and they sent me to Canton,Ohio and they charge me 500 bucks and when I fot home it still hard to start.Then in a month it was harder to start. Now won't start.The starter is going bad now.I have a extra one in my car trailer that works fine when I have the trailer on the rear. RE: Trying to post picture of my Class C Motor Home Nice MH! I hadn't seen any on Dodge trucks. It's a Scotty? How is it set up inside? Just curious.....and what did you do to get your pictures on here? Bill, Claudia, and the Paps I did this last week and have no idea what I did to get the pictures on the forum. The inside of the MH the kitchen is in the rear. The bathroom is large for the size.It has a couch and eating area.. It works very well for us. We use to have a 36 foot Holiday Rambler and wife was afraid to drive it. I sold it and she loves to drive it. We went from 6 miles a gallon to 14 to 17 depending on how fast we drive.I get 12 pulling the car trailer with a 39 Ford in the trailer.Everwhere we go someone wants to buy it. Getting a new generator,Generac no good I am going to get a new generator for our class C. It has a Generac and it been nothing but trouble. It runs on propane because our MH is diesel. I have had it work on twice and still no good. Now what should I get. It has to run on diesel or propane. Where the best price for a generator also? I am tired of trying to repair the generac. RE: Death Valley Report It been many years since I have been to Death Valler but will never forget Scotty Castle. If you can make sure you go there.
